Quayside welcomes new CEO, Lyndon Settle

Quayside warmly welcomes Lyndon Settle as CEO.  With a vast array of knowledge in Finance, Agribusiness and Infrastructure, the Quayside Board and team are thrilled to welcome a leader with Lyndon’s experience.  Quayside’s Chair, Sir Robert McLeod, said “Lyndon’s appointment is significant for us as we move into a new phase, supporting intergenerational returns for our communities alongside delivering positive environmental, social and governance outcomes”.

With a transition period with Scott Hamilton in place, Lyndon will focus on stakeholder engagement, governance and strategy over the coming months.

Most recently, Lyndon was the General Manager – Finance and Investments at Tainui Group Holdings and has over 20 years’ experience in banking and commercial, including BNZ and Rabobank.

A whakatau for Lyndon will occur this week between Tainui Group Holdings and Quayside, marking his transition from one organisation to another, acknowledging the positive impact he has had for Tainui iwi over the course of the last six years.

Lyndon has ties to the Bay of Plenty community dating back to childhood, saying of his appointment “I relish the opportunity to lead Quayside in delivering on its long-term strategy for the benefit of all communities that live within the region”.

Of Scott’s departure, Sir Rob said, “we are thankful for Scott’s energy, creativity and results-focus over the last 12 years, and collectively, we wish him the best for the next phase of his career”.
