New Chair announced for Quayside Board

Quayside Holdings Limited (‘Quayside’) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Warren Parker to the role of independent Chair effective 1 November 2023, with Sir Robert McLeod’s tenure ending on 31 October 2023.

Dr Parker has been an Independent Director on Quayside’s Board since 2015.  Dr Parker has held a variety of governance positions, including most recently Chair of Pāmu, Chair of FarmIQ Systems Limited and Director of Farmland Cooperative Trading Society.  Dr Parker has also chaired the Forestry Ministerial Advisory Group and the Advisory Board for Griffith Enterprises (the commercialisation arm of Griffith University) and is a member of the Board of Genomics Aotearoa.  Dr Parker is the former CEO of Crown Research Institutes Scion and Manaaki Whenua – Landcare Research.

Along with his independent directorship for Quayside, Dr Parker has most recently been the Chair of Quayside’s People, Culture and Safety Committee.

Sir Robert McLeod, Quayside’s outgoing Chair, said, “We are delighted that Dr. Parker will succeed me in the role of Chair.  He is a highly reputable governance professional with experience in various industries.  Dr. Parker’s leadership, strategic thinking and clarity of purpose will steer Quayside into its next stage of growth.”
